October Fun!

When I walked in the door the other night, this is what I saw. Sooo adorable!

This is the pumpkin that Matt and I carved together, mostly done by Matt thought. It is Mufasa from Lion King.

Our costumes. Matt was Clark Kent, I was Lois Lane, and our Cooper was Super Man!!!

All of Coopers cousins on the Coleman side. They all look so cute!

We had our annual Halloween dinner that Matt's parents put together. It is so much fun! This is the kids table. They are all filling out their menus. I ate ice cream, rice, and salad with no utensils for my last course. Interesting :)

My moms costumes always amaze me. She was the witch from Snow White.

Cooper wasn't so sure about her. :)

Here we are again at the Halloween party at the Lehi Legacy Center. It was a lot of fun.

We ran into Elise and Tracen there. Cooper and Tracen are such cute friends.

There were a lot of mascots at the party. Matt of course had to make sure he got a picture with Swoop. Matt is such a UTES fan! It is hard for me because I have always been a BYU fan but this year I have no choice but to cheer for Utah!

Our little Super Man!

Matt made homemade chili on Halloween day. It was amazing! We took it over to our friends house and spent Halloween night with them. Kevin made peach cobbler one of my favorites. It was so much fun.

Here are Cooper and Blake. These two are little buddies.

K...so this was one of the cutest things ever. I was in the kitchen cleaning this morning and all of a sudden I hear Cooper say, "Peak a boo." I went into the family room to see what he was doing and this is what I saw. He made a fort! He was having so much fun. We spent the next 45 minutes building forts. I can't believe my boy is big enough to build his own fort!

Fun weekend...Not so fun week

Cooper was the most sick I have ever seen him last week. He had a cold for about a week but then on Thursday morning when he woke up, he was not being himself. He cried and cried and cried. So, I called into work and told them I needed to get Cooper to the doctor. Before I took him, I took his temp and it was 99.8. When we got to the doctor a half hour later, it was 100.5. He did nothing but lay on my shoulder and could barely lift his head up. Then the doctor took and strep test, and sure enough, he had strep. He had it so bad that they said he needed to just get a shot instead of taking an oral antibiotic. I took him home and we just cuddled the whole day, which if any of you know Cooper, he doesn't stop playing for cuddling no matter what. Later that day he seemed to be getting worse, almost lethargic. His temp got clear up to 103. We called the on call doctor and they said, "We aren't as worried about the number as we are keeping him conscious." That freaked me out. He was laying on my shoulder shaking uncontrollably crying for a blanket because he was so cold. We had a fan blowing on him and the front door open and tried to keep cold rags on his head. Cold baths and keeping cold rags on a 20 month old doesn't work. Matt keep talking to him and would tell him he loved him and Cooper wouldn't even open his eyes or move but he would say, "I love you too." Then we kept asking him if he was ok and he still never moved but would say, "uh hu." It was the saddest day ever. We ended up walking around outside with him for about an hour in a onesie to try and break the fever. I never want to see him like that again. Fortunately, he is doing much better and by the next morning he was back to normal. Since he wasn't contagious after 24 hours we decided to go to Gardner Village with my mother and sister in law and my cute neices. It was great to get Cooper out. He hates being stuck inside.

We went inside the petting zoo. Cooper thought it was great.

Grammy, bought Cooper a pony ride but Cooper wanted nothing to do with it, so we just took a picture.

Here are the kiddos. Yes, Cooper is stealing Brooklyn's food :)

My mother and sister in law. I sure lucked out getting such a great family!

Cooper and Jaycee loved dancing in front of the the witch playing the piano. It was cute.

This is how Cooper fell asleep in the car on the way home from running errands Saturday morning. He sure loves Mickey and Elmo.

THEN...Saturday night, our friends came over to eat pumpkin pizza and carve pumpkins.

Cooper thought it was so much fun. He wasn't quit sure what his dad was doing though.

I love that man!!!!

Cooper was so intense about his pumpkins.

Coloring them was his favorite. It was our first experience with markers. I think those will stay up high and out of Cooper's reach for a while.

We tried all night to get these two to smile for a picture and this was the best we could get. Cooper LOVES playing with Molly. He chased her all night long and laughed and laughed. He is already a big flirt!

Matt carved this amazing Elmo pumpkin for Cooper. He did such a great job.

Jeff (one of Matt's best friends) carved this one. AMAZING!!! He is such an incredible artist.

Hadley and Jo...Things aren't the same without you.

2 people I love most!!!

The two people I love more than anything in the world, both wearing what I cannot stand. I don't know why but wearing a Hawaiian shirt is sooo extremely unattractive to me. Matt thinks I am crazy. He found these shirts going through his old stuff. He got them straight from Hawaii on a trip he and two of his best friends went on before his mission. He was so excited and put one both he and Cooper. So unfortunate lol :)

I am SO in LOVE

Matt and I went on the best date the last weekend. He took me to the Jon Schmidt concert at Thanksgiving Point. Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love Jon Schmidt! It was so nice to have such a relaxing date together. I love my husband so much!!! My life is perfect because of him. He has given me the greatest gifts I could ever hope for in life...true love, happiness, and my sweet Cooper. He is such an example of strength and determination. I am sooo extremely lucky to have been bless with such an amazing person for eternity. I love you sweetie!!!!

Cooper's prayers

Cooper is growing up so fast. I thought I would update on some of his new favorite things to do. My personal favorite is when he says his prayers. For a few of months he has been folding his arms during prayers and saying amen at the end of each one, but in the last few weeks he has started saying them. It started with Matt asking him at dinner if he wanted to say the prayer. His eyes got all big and he said, "yes." Matt tells Cooper what to say and after each thing, Cooper shakes his head yes. The other day at dinner Cooper was saying the prayers and Matt told him to bless the food. He did is regular, shake his head yes then paused for a minute and said, "NO." It was so funny. He didn't want to bless the food. Now I will catch him all throughout the day with his arms folded whispering for about 30 seconds and then hear him say, "AMEN." He is so stinking cute! He says his prayers every night before bed already. My heart just melts every time. I can't believe how fast he is growing up.

Cooper is still singing away. Some of his favorite songs right now are, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam, ABC's, The Wheels on the Bus, Elmo's Song, If you are Happy and You Know It, and the hot dog song from Mickey Mose Club House. He is saying about 10 new words each day. It is amazing how quickly they learn. He loves babies and is always saying, "Where's baby Blake?" Blake is my friends baby I get to watch twice a week. He has been going to nursery for 2 weeks now and is in heaven there. He hasn't cried once!

Cooper tells me probably 20 times a day that he loves me. We can't get him to say sorry or please for the life of us though. Every time we ask him to say either of those words, he says, "I LOVE YOU!" It is so hard to resist that so most of the time that passes for sorry or please. We even tell him to say pa and then lease. He will say pa, but when you tell him to say lease he just says, "I LOVE YOU." Cute little stinker!

Anyways, I just wanted to talk about my little angel for a minute. He is WONDERFUL!!!!

Family Fun!!!

We have been so busy having fun this summer. Here is a glimpse of what we have been up to.

We went to the cutest train place in Farmington with the Coleman side of our family. It was so much fun. They have a bunch of little trains there you can ride. Talk about a hobby gone wild. This man has set the whole thing up in his yard. The train ride we went on was 15 minutes long. He has probably spent well over $500,000 on it. The train went all around his property where he has set up mini golf, a cute little farm, and the setting of a little train station. Cooper thought it was great!

This is Coopy and I on the train.

Our little family!

Cooper and Brooklyn playing the piano. They are so cute together.

KEVERN REUNION

We had our annual Kevern reunion last weekend. It was great to see so many of our family members. We had more camping sleep trauma but I won't go into that. I will just say that I REALLY want to buy a trailer!!!

What a sweet boy!

Matt, Uncle Kent, and Mitch cooking. UMMM! Food when you are camping is just so much better.

My little angel!

All of these kiddos are within 3 months apart. All around 18 months old. Needless to say, us moms were a little busy.

Funny smile!

Matt taking Cooper on an off road adventure. Good thing Cooper loves his wagon because that was the easiest way to keep track of him.

Two partners in crime!

Family night playing cards. Matt was totally caught cheating in this picture. Little sneak! I sure do love my family!!!!

Cooper's funny faces

This is the face he pulls as he is getting ready to tell me NO, but then pauses in this pose and starts to laugh instead :) He is so funny!!!

What would I do without him to make me laugh a million times a day?
