Finally an update...Sorry!

This is Matt and Cooper on Matt's birthday. Happy Birthday babe!!!

Cooper loves to be a bug. He thinks it is pretty funny!

Look at how Cooper sleeps. Does that look comfortable to anyone? He arches his head back as far as it will possibly go. Speaking of sleeping. Now that Cooper is rolling over (Hurray for Cooper) he is killing me during the night. He always starts on his side and then rolls to his stomach during the night and screams bloody murder. He also wants his binky put back in his mouth every time it falls out. I was up with him 12 times the other night. Putting him back on his back and putting the binky back in his mouth. So, last night we wedged him in his crib pretty good so he couldn't roll over and did the tough love thing and made him realize that he can comfort himself back to sleep. I hated it so bad but I know I will appreciate it later. I figure it will be easier now than when he is older.

Cooper during tummy time. He is only rolling from his back to his stomach. He hasn't figured out how to roll from his tummy to his back, so we are working on that.

Cooper and my mom's dog Gidgit were having a staring contest. It lasted for a few minutes. It was pretty funny.

Cooper and I went to my nephews baseball game. It was so much fun to watch the little guys. They are four years old so half of them are throwing their mits in the air and catching them, and rolling on the ground. It really is the cuttest thing to watch. That cute little girl is my neice Braylyn.

This is Cooper and Brooklyn, his cousin (Jamie, Matt's sisters little girl). They were eating each others hands. They are a little over a month apart. Hopefuly they will be great friends.

This is Cooper and his cousin Tripp. Tripp is my brother Daniel's little boy. They are exactly 3 months apart to the day. Cooper kept hitting Tripp in the head when we were trying to take this picture so sorry Tripp is a little covered. It was the best one I could get. I can already picture these two getting into lots of trouble together in a few years.

Yea for the Lehi Rodeo!!! We took Matt's Parents to the rodeo this year. It was so much fun. Cooper has his 4 month shots that day though so he wasn't the happiest camper.

Cooper and his Grammy and Papa Coleman!

While we were taking this picture, the food really fell out of Matt's mouth. It was pretty funny!

What handsome boys!!!!

Matt is the best Dad ever. He is so amazing with Cooper and Cooper just loves him!!!

I promise I don't have shoulder pads on. I put the burp rag over my flower. Ops!

This is my cute Grandma Linford. I sure do love her!

And there is the bride.

Missy has is one of my greatest friends. Her wedding was so beautiful. I am so happy for her.

Cooper and I came home the other night and when we walked in, this is what we saw. Do you think his grandma spoils him, hmmmmm. He sure does love it!

We went to my nephews baseball game the other day so i was able to put Cooper in some cute stuff. Sarah's mom made that hat for Cooper. It is the cuttest thing ever! Thanks Karen

Look at those blue eyes. Man he is cute!!!

My poor husband!

So most of you know that I have always talked and walked in my sleep. Well, the other night Matt woke up so tired and I couldn't figure out why.

Matt fell asleep around 1:30 am. At 2:30 he woke up to me shaking him and yelling his name. He was very groggy and just asked what I needed. I told him in a panic that we forgot to brush Coopers teeth. Matt proceeded to tell me that Cooper didn't have teeth. I got very frustrated and told him that he did have teeth and it is not acceptable for us to forget to brush them. To try and get me to shut up, Matt told me that he did brush Cooper's teeth and that we didn't need to do it again. Apparently that made me upset because I then told him he was lying to me and he was only saying that because he was lazy and didn't want to get up and do it. So I went to get Cooper out of bed and Matt grabbed me and put me back in bed and my head on my pillow and I was out. Weird!!!

Around 3:30 I woke up again, this time completely sitting up and hitting Matt. Matt was even more groggy and asked what I needed this time. I guess I started patting the bed where I always change Cooper's diaper and told Matt that I needed to change his diaper :) Matt didn't think it was funny at all and told me that he didn't have a diaper. I was very frustrated with him and told him that he did, and that it needed to be changed. I told him that I needed the practice. He told me that I changed Cooper's diapers all the time and that I didn't need any more practice. I then told him that there was an older kid in our primary that still wasn't potty trained and that I was now responsible for changing his diapers (not true). So...I needed practice changing a big diaper. Makes since right... I guess I was pretty persistent telling Matt that I really needed to change his diaper. At this point, I woke up and realized what I was saying. I started laughing so hard. I was rocking back and forth while Matt rolled over and didn't make a sound. It only was about 30 seconds later and I was back asleep.

At 4:30 I woke Matt up to make Cooper his bottle and he wouldn't wake up for me. It was like pulling teeth to get him up which was really unusual. Later that morning at 5:30 I woke up to get ready for work and realized what had happened during the night and was laughing the whole time I was getting ready. I had to wake Matt up to see if it was true. So at 6:30 I woke Matt up to see if that really happened. Needless to say, Matt wasn't very happy with me. He is still doesn't think any of this is funny. The poor guy. Hopefully he will think it is funny soon.

Finally...

COOPER HAS HIS TUBES!!! Cooper got his tubes on Thursday. It was the saddest thing Matt and I have ever seen. He had a really hard time coming out of the anesthesia. He cried forever which broke our hearts. It has taken him a while to recover from the surgery but yesterday and today, he has been the BEST baby ever. I don't even know what to do with myself. He will lie down and hang out without someone right by him which he has never done before. He is so much happier. You can just tell he feels so much better. What would we do without modern medicine?

Besides the surgery, Cooper is almost rolling over and he is holding his own bottle. He is growing up so fast. It is crazy how fast they grow. I can't seem to grasp each stage enough. What a blessing he has been to our lives. We couldn't have imagined a better miracle. Here are some pictures of the little cutie!

If you look really closely you can see spiked peach fuss. He is extremely bald. I admidt, I did shave the back of his head but that was only because it was the only hair he had...litterally. It looked like a red mullet and I couldn't let stay any longer. Sorry Buba!

This is Cooper's starting position for rolling over. Look at those thighs :)!!!!

Cooper has this new thing where his hands are always at this mouth. It is his comfort. 90% of the time that is where his hands will be. It really is the cutest thing ever!

He is starting to actually fit in his bumbo chair now!

What a big kid. I can't believe he is already holding his own bottle.

Crazy dad! When Cooper was first born his whole head would have fit in Matt's mouth.

Kisses for Daddy!

Kisses for Mommy!

Cooper thought it was the coolest thing that he could ride on my back.

Handsome!!!

Cooper sure is loved!!!

Well, since I can't seem to stay on top of the blog, you get a lot at once. Sorry! Isn't Cooper the cuttest kid. He just keeps getting cutter and cutter which is really hard to do. He is giving kisses and walking...that's right walking. Ok, so he isn't walking by himself of course, but if you stand him up and hold onto him, he takes off. I bet he will be walking before crawling. We have it on video so if I can figure out how to get the video from the camera to the computer, then onto the blog, you will be able to see. He is doing so well.

We took Cooper to the doctors Monday (his second home) and his ears are still terrible. We took him in because he was throwing up all day Sunday and Monday morning. I thought for sure he had the flu but of course it had to do with his ears. Since his ears aren't draining, the fluid is going back into his head which is causing him to gag and through up. Crazy! So his doctor said we can't wait any longer and Cooper needs tubes within two weeks. We went and met with the surgeon at Primary Childrens Hospital and as soon as we hear back from the insurance, Cooper will be getting tubes. I am really nervous for him to be put to sleep, but I am so ready for him to feel better. I don't want him to be in pain any more. Even though he still isn'y feeling well, he is such a good baby. We don't know what we would do without him!

Cooper had cereal for the first time last night. He loved it!!!

Cooper had his first slumber party and built his first fort with his cousins.

Look at that double chin. We worked hard for that!!!

Matt and Cooper fell asleep waiting for me to get ready for church. Cooper already knows it takes way too long for mom to get ready (as Matt would say).

A smile that can melt your heart!
